4 Budget-Friendly Ways To Transform Your Bathroom
*This is a collaborative post.
A recent study suggests that it can cost you an average of £6,500 to install a new bathroom in the UK. For many homeowners, this is expensive and makes it more tempting to put off your bathroom improvement for later. While a new bathroom can allow you to enjoy your home, it can also be a great investment since homes with modern or updated bathrooms sell quicker and at a higher price. Consider the budget-friendly tips below to transform your bathroom without any massive overhauling.
1. Tidy up your bathroom
You often don’t need to purchase or upgrade any special item in your bathroom. Simple cleaning and organization can instantly transform the space without spending a penny. Scan and remove any used and expired products such as cosmetics, ointments, and gels in your bathroom. These items can easily build up and clutter what should be a clean and fresh spot for relaxing. If you are hesitant to get rid of some items, there are some DIY bathroom storages you can do to keep your cleaning products while leaving your bathroom looking stylish.
2. Leverage adhesive floor and wall wallpaper
DIYing can be cost-effective, but not everyone enjoys spending hours completing a task when there are several other things they would rather do. So consider using convenient options that require less time. For example, a peel-and-stick wallpaper for your bathroom walls and flooring is a good idea. This isn’t difficult to do. One advantage is that there are a lot of luxury wallpaper ideas you can look up to transform your bathroom in no time.
3. Invest in striking shower curtains
A new shower curtain can completely transform the aesthetic of your bathroom. New curtains can be a terrific way to play with colours and patterns inside your bathroom, especially with matching towels and accessories. You can change them at any time so give your bathroom a new look. You can also consider replacing your curtain hooks with gold or brass types to boost the bathroom aesthetic. Your bathroom is a private space in your home, so you also want to pay attention to your windows. Use the right bathroom blinds for privacy and light control without compromising your bathroom design and style.
4. Add some green life
Greenery is one of the best ways to liven up a drab space. Plants add splashes of colour to a space and freshen the stale air inside. Maintaining greenery in your bathroom is easy since the environment is usually humid and warm. This is usually great for several plants like bird’s nest fern, pothos, aloe vera, and air plants. These plants add some sense of liveliness to your bathroom while offering depth and contrast to your design. Your bathroom can be a safe haven for you. You only need a bit of creativity and know-how to make the most of your bathroom. These tips are great ways to do that with a limited budget, whether you own your own home or are renting.

My bathroom looks better since I bought nice baskets to store makeup, soaps and flannels in. Changing the shower curtain regularly is a great idea too :o)
